Your arrival from Podgorica Airport

 

There are two possible routes from the airport, both leading through the Moraća Gorge, which is well worth seeing. The first and faster option, with only an hour's drive, is offered by the new and impressive highway (opening in 2022). Its bridge over the gorge is one of the most massive bridge structures in Europe, with a total length of 960 m and a height of up to 158 m.

The alternative takes a little longer, but is worth the trip in itself. It leads even more directly along the gorge on a country road with many serpentines and stopping bays. Here you are rather leisurely on the road and let yourself be enchanted by the panorama.

Both routes lead through Kolašin shortly before Lipovo, where you can stop if necessary and have a bite to eat.

Questions about travel organization

 

  • Do I need a visa?
    If you enter the country with your identity card, you can stay in the country for 30 days without a visa; with a passport, the period is extended to 90 days. All documents must be valid for at least 3 months.

  • How is the transport from the airport to Lipovo?
    We offer a pick-up service. If you would like to rent your own car, Sixt, Europcar and Hertz, among others, are available at the airport. As an ADAC member you receive discounts.
